Once you decide to sell your home, the next thing to do is make a plan and set it in action.
Step 1: Listing your Home
Set up an appointment with a Realty World Realtor to discuss listing your property. Your agent will prepare a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) to determine an optimum listing price for your home. You will also discuss some suggestions to maximize your earning potential.
Step 2: Marketing Your Home
A specific marketing plan will be created by you and your realtor. A plan that will include all of the following: Realty World sign on your property, Homes Magazine, Realty World Website, Realtor.com, Local Multiple Listing Service as well as 6 surrounding MLS systems.
Step 3: Showing Your Property
Your Realty World agent will set up appointments, show your home to qualified uyers. We will work with other agents inside and outside our company to find a buyer for your home.
Step 4: The Contract and Negotiations
This is the most complex and technical steps of the entire process. During this step you and your agent will work together through each part of the process.
- Receive and review written offer
- Negotiate the offer until an agreement is reached
- Review an estimate of the sale profits
- Sign the offer
- Home Inspection
- Home appraisal
- Buyers mortgage commitment (if necessary)
- Prepare for closing
Step 5: The Closing
Finally this day will arrive! This will be the day you hand the keys to the buyer and receive the profits from your sale. If you have any questions or concerns about the closing you may contact your agent. Together we can make the closing go as smooth as possible.
